Bobrisky Complained of Chest Pain, hospitalised

Controversial Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, was transported to the Police Hospital in Falomo, Lagos, on Wednesday after reporting discomfort in his chest area, commonly referred to as ‘breasts.’ This incident followed his detention at the Alagbon Police Station in Lagos State.

According to a police insider, Bobrisky was taken to the hospital around 2 p.m. due to his complaints of pain. “Bobrisky claimed his ‘breasts’ were hurting him, which led us to take him to the hospital,” the source explained.

Reports suggest that the ambulance transfer may have been conducted as a precautionary measure, coinciding with a visit from the Commissioner of Police overseeing the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) in Lagos. The source noted that the ambulance was requested with the intention of minimizing public attention, as the CP was planning to transfer Bobrisky to the SFU command.

The source revealed, “They sent for a police ambulance with the number plate LLD339LP to discreetly move him.”

Prior to his hospital transfer, Bobrisky was kept in isolation from other detainees, under the watchful eye of two armed officers. “He was kept separate from the others and guarded by two armed guards until he was taken to the hospital,” the police insider stated.

Upon arriving at the hospital, Bobrisky was escorted by a nurse and a well-armed officer. “A female nurse and a police officer accompanied Bobrisky, who was placed on a stretcher,” the source added.

Earlier in the week, Bobrisky was apprehended by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and subsequently detained at the Nigeria Police Force’s Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Alagbon. The circumstances surrounding his arrest and hospitalization continue to draw public attention, given his popularity and controversial persona.
