CRP cautions group threatening to burn oil installations in Niger Delta, says governance is anchored on rule of law
.. insists that any attempt to touch any oil facility will lead to catastrophe
…asks Fubara to call his boys to order
A group under the platform of Concerned Rivers People, CRP has cautioned a nascent group threatening to tamper with oil installations in the Niger Delta to desist from such actions as the consequence will be intolerable.
Recall group had threatened to foment trouble via tampering with oil installations across the Niger Delta over unfounded allegations laced around procurement of court verdicts.
Responding to their unholy threat, CRP in a statement signed by its Director of Communications Mr Robinson Uke cautioned the group to desist from such an act as it will lead to catastrophe.
It reminded the self styled militants that globally governance is anchored on the rule of law and Rivers State is not jungle where life is short and brutish.
“When they got orders from state High courts heaven did not fall, the orders were respected and peace reigned.
“We are warning this faceless that any attempt to touch any oil installation will be an invitation to catastrophe.
“The state governor, Siminalayi should be warned and advised appropriately that this is the 21st century not ‘jungle has matured mentality’.
“He should stop tarnishing the image of Ijaw nation that extends beyond Rivers state and deep into other regions in the federation.
Uke said: “The Ijaw nation that spreads across the coastal line of Nigeria consists of refined gentlemen and women that have proven their mettle in all human endeavours.
“Niger Deltans will not stand aside and watch a selected few hanging AK47 across their shoulders to cause sleepless nights in their region.
