Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has received a student of Oriwu Senior Model College, Ikorodu, Abdulazeez Abdulrahmon, who is the One Day Governor and Overall Winner of the 20th Edition of the Spelling Bee Competition, at Lagos House, Marina.
Sanwo-Olu also received the One Day Deputy Governor, Oki Sewanu, who is a student at Ansar-Ud-Deen Senior Grammar School in Badagry, and Saheed Alimot-Odere, the One Day Secretary to the State Government, a student at Jubilee Model Senior Grammar School, Coker Aguda.
The Lagos State Governor disclosed this in a pictorial he shared via his X handle on Monday, October 28.
The caption reads: “Today, I had the pleasure of receiving a student of Oriwu Senior Model College, Ikorodu, Abdulazeez Abdulrahmon, the One Day Governor and Overall Winner of the 20th Edition of the Spelling Bee Competition, at Lagos House, Marina.
“Abdulazeez was accompanied by Oki Sewanu, the One Day Deputy Governor, who is a student at Ansar-Ud-Deen Senior Grammar School in Badagry, and Saheed Alimot-Odere, the One Day Secretary to the State Government, a student at Jubilee Model Senior Grammar School, Coker Aguda.
“This experience not only showcased the talents of these outstanding students but also emphasized the importance of educational competitions in nurturing the potential of our young minds.
