‘I’m more talented than Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy’ – Tiwa Savage
Singer, Tiwa Savage has joined the conversation about the “Big 3” or “Big 4” in the Nigerian music industry.
Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy are widely regarded as the current top three Nigerian artists and are collectively referred to as the “Big 3.”
There are also conversations about adding a fourth name to the list, with many tipping artists like Tiwa Savage, Rema, Asake and others.
During a recent interview with The Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos, Savage shared her thoughts on being on the elite list.
She boasted that she was more talented than Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy who are widely placed on the list.
The host asked, “Do you feel like you’ve to be part of the ‘Big 3’ or even ‘Big 4’ conversation? How do you feel about that?”
Savage replied, “Don’t get me started. If we are to go talent for talent, mic for mic, I am the big 1. If you take off the numbers [streams], and whatever you want to judge the big whatever with, you can’t see me on the mic. But again, it [the ranking] is not based on that [musical talent].”

How my friend ruined my marriage – Ronke Odusanya
Renowned Nollywood actress Ronke Odusanya has shared details about the alleged role a close friend played in the breakdown of her marriage to Saheed Olarewaju, widely known as Jago.
Speaking with her colleague, Bimpe Akintunde, Odusanya revealed how damaging accusations made by this friend led to distrust and ultimately contributed to the end of her marriage.
Odusanya claimed her friend falsely informed Jago that she intended to leave him and pursue a life in prostitution.
Furthermore, the friend alleged that she was romantically involved with a senator and had taken their daughter, Fife, to spend a night at the senator’s house.
Reflecting on these events, the actress recounted her disbelief and distress upon hearing the accusations. “A friend of mine told him that I wanted to leave him and go into prostitution. That when I left that night, I went to sleep in a senator’s house with Fife. When he told me, my mouth was left open,” she said.
To counter the accusations, Odusanya gathered evidence, recording her location and timestamped moments with her daughter, which she later shared with Jago. Despite these efforts, she noted that the ordeal left her in a vulnerable position financially and emotionally. “When we left, I didn’t have up to N10,000 in my account… all my jewelry was taken away,” she revealed, adding that she struggled to find a new place to stay.
Odusanya also mentioned that Jago later regretted listening to her friend’s claims, realizing the harm they had caused.

Renowned Nigerian R&B singer and entrepreneur, Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W and his actress wife Adesua Etomi have welcomed the arrival of their second child — a baby boy.
Banky W shared the news on Instagram with a heartwarming video showcasing his hands-on approach to family life since the baby’s birth.
The video features him cooking, helping around the house, and supporting Adesua.

Since the baby’s arrival, Banky W said he has taken on various roles, from chef and housekeeper to homework helper and masseuse.
The singer also advocated for gender equality, saying “supporting women’s economic power means doing my part in our home and community”.
“Partnership is 100-100, not 50-50. That means that in this season, I’ve been a chef, housekeeper, nanny, homework teacher, masseuse, and more all as part of my duty as a supportive husband and present father of two . And honestly, I couldn’t be happier,” the post’s caption reads in part.
“Supporting Women’s Economic Power means doing my part in our home.”
Adesua expressed gratitude in the comment section, calling Banky W “the best partner in the entire world”.
The actress announced her pregnancy on October 14. The new addition makes them a family of four.
In November 2017, Banky tied the knot with Adesua in South Africa. The couple welcomed their first child Hazaiah Olusegun Wellington in 2021.
Banky had previously said that fatherhood is “my favourite job description”.
“The boy is so full of life. He is everything we hoped for and more. Every morning, I’m the first person he sees, before his mom or the nanny,” he said.
The singer-turned-politician recently relocated to the United States with his family.
