The National Commander of Man O’ War Nigeria, Adedamola Gbenga has expressed profound appreciation to the Director General of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC), Mr. Adesoji Eniade.
He also commended the Director of Training and Development, Mr Ebiwari Elehibiri and the Head of Rescue and Operations, Dr. Alero, alongside other senior officers for their esteemed presence at the recently concluded 2nd National Commander’s Conference.
In his address, NC Adedamola Gbenga outlined the pivotal role of Man O’ War Nigeria in nation-building, emphasizing its commitment to volunteerism as a catalyst for community development and youth empowerment.
Dr. Alero, the Head of Rescue and Operations at the CLTC, commended the commanders for their dedication to voluntary service. She highlighted the indispensable role of state commands in driving the organization’s mission and encouraged commanders to continue exemplifying the spirit of volunteerism.
The Director General of CLTC, Mr. Adesoji Eniade, described Man O’ War Nigeria as the “face of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre.” He stressed the importance of youth development as the primary focus of both organizations, stating that accountability is essential in leadership. He also urged state and regional commands to remain proactive, noting that visibility through impactful activities is critical to the organization’s growth and recognition.
Addressing the audience, the DG emphasized adherence to the Man O’ War code of conduct, describing it as the foundation of the organization’s integrity. He further noted that the strength of any organization lies in its membership base and commended Man O’ War Nigeria for its resilience and volunteer spirit.
Mr. Eniade also urged commanders to prioritize the safety of schools across Nigeria, emphasizing the role of Man O’ War in creating secure environments for learning. He called for increased collaboration with government agencies, community leaders, and other organizations to enhance community development efforts.
The Director General highlighted the need for strengthening recruitment strategies and fostering partnerships with influential individuals and organizations to expand the organization’s reach and impact.
In his closing remarks, NC Adedamola Gbenga reaffirmed Man O’ War Nigeria’s commitment to enhancing its operations and delivering on its mandate of fostering patriotism, discipline, and community service. He expressed optimism about the future of the organization and its role in shaping a better Nigeria.
