The Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) (South), Taofeek Arapaja, has described Nyesom Wike as a loyal and committed party man.
The PDP Deputy National Chairman (South) stated this during a book launch held in his honor on the occasion of his 57th birthday on Friday in Port Harcourt.
The PDP leader, Arapaja said Despite the internal crisis in the party, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) commands the respect of all party members.
He added that if Wike was of value to the PDP, other parties would not have sought him out.
“As PDP members, we are proud to say that he is one of our best. Because if he’s not good enough, I’m pretty sure some of our other political parties obviously wouldn’t be looking for him. He makes a lot of difference.
“The base of all political parties in Nigeria is PDP. So I am surprised when someone who is a product of the PDP speaks negatively about it. That’s not politics.
“Our mentor and director, who has not left the PDP for even a day, is one of the most dedicated and loyal party leaders we have ever had. He has done well, he is doing well, and we wish him the best of luck in all his future endeavors.
“We know you, and we love and appreciate you always. Some people believe in an entitled mentality, but we will always stand by you because you are a man of integrity, honor and an artistsaid Arapaja.
