Apparently sensing the hardship in Nigeria, on Wednesday, Senator Haruna Manu of Taraba Central Senatorial District has proven his dedication to the welfare of his constituents through a generous financial support initiative.
Recall that within the week days to Christmas, Manu shared over10,000 bags of rice and 15,000 cartons of spaghetti to constituents in Taraba Central.
On Christmas day Senator Manu also shared cash gifts to youths and elderly groups in Mutum-Biyu, Gassol Local Government Area.
Through his legislative aide Hon. Bala Baba Bali, Manu distributed Christmas packages comprising bags of rice and spaghetti to the communities of Gangdole, Gangmata, Ganglari, and Gangtiba in Bali Local Government.
This gesture reflects Senator Haruna’s commitment to supporting his constituents and spreading joy during the festive season.
The initiative was warmly received, with residents expressing gratitude for the Senator’s thoughtfulness and care for their well-being.
Understanding the economic challenges faced by many, Senator Manu also took a proactive step by forming a committee to identify the pressing needs of his constituents.
The committee, led by Hon. Muslim Aruwa, Commissioner for Science and Technology Taraba State alongside with Secretary to the Gassol LGA Council and Hon. Ephraim Waziri, aims to develop sustainable solutions to mitigate the economic hardships in the Senatorial District.
This initiative is yet another testament to Senator Manu’s unwavering commitment to improving the living standards of his people, especially during the festive season.
Manu’s efforts continue to inspire hope and bring much-needed relief to the people of Taraba Central.
