A lady who reportedly saved about N35 million while working in the UK wasted it after her return to Nigeria in the quest to find a husband.

The story of the lady was shared by a TikTok content creator identified as @nikkisolomon0.

According to her, the lady had the notion that she would attract men when she lived a lavish lifestyle hence her wasteful spending.

She narrated: “She saved N35 million and decided to move back to Nigeria from the UK. Before you make any decision, check it o. She went back to Nigeria saying she didn’t want to hustle again. She just wanted to live the life and get a husband and live a good life thinking that the expensive life she’s living with the N35 million will get her a husband.

“Some of you ladies think that living an extravagant life will get you a husband. No. You will only attract boys who want to take advantage of you. This girl did not even set up a business with the N35 million she had in mind to set up. The money finished and she started begging for money. Not even up to two years of moving back.”

“It is unfortunate that we are beginning the year with this tragic incident, though no life was lost, this is the 4th building collapse we are witnessing in the state since I assumed office”

“Preliminary investigation at the scene of the incident showed that the building may have collapsed due to the use of substandard materials by the builder.

“Specifically, the use of 12mm rods for decking a building is a clear violation of construction standards, unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident, as similar cases in the state had been linked to the same cause.

”The property has been sealed pending investigation into the cause of collapse,” the Commissioner said.
