Cleric warns Nigerian Army of looming terrorist attacks and kidnappings

The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a stern warning to the Nigerian military, urging immediate action to thwart potential terrorist plans.

Speaking through his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele called on the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, to address what he described as a “wrong formation” within the army.

Primate Ayodele further disclosed a list of states that may face increased terrorist activity. These include Nasarawa, Gombe, Plateau, Kaduna, Bauchi, Benue, Abuja, and Kogi. He called on the COAS and CDS to unite, brainstorm, and implement robust strategies to eliminate terrorists across the nation.

“They are both capable hands,” he said.

“They should not allow these terrorists to destroy their legacies and credibility.”

The cleric also raised the alarm about potential attacks planned by the Eastern Security Network (ESN) in the South-East.

He claimed the ESN was planning to kidnap or harm key individuals, including a prominent emir.

“It is a red alert,” Ayodele warned. “They want to abort a lot of people, including an emir.”

Primate Ayodele’s message carried a somber tone, as he expressed frustration over unheeded warnings in the past.

He emphasized that the lives of Nigerian soldiers and civilians should not be jeopardized due to a lack of preparedness.

The prophet reiterated his support for the efforts of the COAS and CDS, highlighting their capabilities and urging them to act decisively to safeguard the nation’s security.

This warning from Primate Ayodele comes at a time when the Nigerian military is under immense pressure to tackle insurgency and restore peace in troubled regions.
