Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rep. Benjamin Kalu, has congratulated former Minister of Labour and Productivity, Chief Emeka Wogu, on his 60th birthday.
In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Levinus Nwabughiogu, Kalu described the milestone as a testament to Chief Wogu’s dedication, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to public service.
He praised Wogu’s contributions to national development, highlighting his patriotic spirit and achievements. Kalu also noted that Wogu’s recent appointment as Chairman of the South East Development Commission (SEDC) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu reflects his reputation as a visionary leader and advocate for regional growth.
Acknowledging Wogu’s distinguished career as a lawyer, former local government chairman, two-term representative of Abia State at the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission, and federal minister, Kalu commended his lasting impact and influence on many Nigerians.
The Deputy Speaker wished Chief Wogu continued wisdom, good health, and longevity.
