…as minister express eagerness to drive digital reform

The Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation has signed an agreement with the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment (FMITI) to improve how the ministry operates.
This partnership, sealed by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which is aimed to make the ministry’s work faster and more efficient using modern technology.
In a statement by the Foundation made available to Naijablitznews.com on Monday in Abuja, it stated that the agreement will focus on using digital tools and training staff to improve service delivery.
Naijablitznews.com reports that the Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation, is known for supporting public sector reforms across Africa, and believes better public services will help drive economic growth.
The MoU signing took place during the ministry’s retreat, with top government officials, agency heads, private sector leaders, and consultants in attendance.
The Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, expressed excitement over the ministry’s new partnership with the Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation.
She praised the foundation’s role in supporting the digital transformation at the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation and shared her determination to bring similar reforms to FMITI.
Dr. Oduwole acknowledged the urgency of meeting the tight deadlines set under FCSSIP25 and emphasized the need to start the initiative without delay.
She noted that the partnership reflects both organisations’ commitment to building a modern, efficient ministry that can serve as a model for public service reforms across Africa.
