Obi disclosed this uring a visit to Chief Clark’s residence on Tuesday, where he signed the condolence register, Obi urged Nigerian leaders to emulate the elder statesman’s unwavering commitment to fairness, justice, and the vision of a better Nigeria.
Reflecting on Clark’s legacy, Obi noted that the country was losing voices of courage — individuals who fought for justice despite the risks to their lives and livelihoods.
“I thank God Almighty for calling him home and pray He grants him eternal rest while giving the family the strength to bear this loss,” Obi said. “He lived for Nigeria — he loved this country and consistently advocated for good governance rooted in justice, equity, and compassion for all.”
