On Thursday, the Ogun State Police initiated a manhunt for a man from Calabar, identified as Oju, who is accused of stabbing his wife, Josephine Isaac, to death in Agbure Community, located in the Ogun Waterside Local Government Area of the state.

The suspect was said to have stabbed his 36-year-old wife severally on her neck and chest with a knife and fled the scene immediately.

The victim’s younger sister, Blessing Isaac, reported the case to Abigi Divisional Police Headquarters on March 6, 2025, that her late sister had a dispute with her husband, which resulted in her death.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, confirmed this to newsmen in a statement in Abeokuta, the state capital, on Thursday.
