Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has sworn in eight permanent secretaries.
He urged them to embrace professionalism, innovation and the THEMES Plus Development Agenda in their new roles.
The swearing-in took place yesterday at the Banquet Hall, Lagos House, Ikeja.
The governor described the appointees as policy drivers responsible for bridging political leadership and the citizens.
He said: “In Lagos, we consistently promote excellence, professionalism, and a best-in-class approach in all areas of governance. You must innovate and remain committed to the ideals of good governance.”
Sanwo-Olu added: “As you take office, embrace the development agenda with renewed energy, working towards sustainable progress and prosperity for Lagosians,”
The newly appointed permanent secretaries include Dr (Mrs) Idowu Abiola Adeolu for Health Facilities Monitoring and Accreditation Agency (HEFAMAA), Mrs Olanrewaju Aderinsola Olubanke for Citizens Mediation Bureau and Mr Bajulaiye Adetokunbo Olanrewaju for Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture.
Others are Mr Mahmud Tajudeen Alao for Ministry of Finance, Mr Agbabiaka Wasiu Bolanle for Civil Service Commission and Oki Gbolahan Owodunni, an architect, for Urban Development.
