In a heartwarming display of compassion, Attorney General and commissioner for justice and public order, Benue state, Bemsen Mnyim sprang into action, directing the immediate treatment of a 10-year-old boy bitten by a snake.
The boy’s plight had gone viral on social media after his parents were unable to pay a whopping hospital bill of 480,000, prompting the hospital to suspend treatment .
A concerned citizen took to Facebook to highlight the boy’s desperate situation, and Mnyim responded swiftly, ordering the boy’s treatment to continue at his own expense.
This selfless act is a testament to Mnyim’s reputation for making a meaningful difference in the lives of the less fortunate.
Mnyim’s actions demonstrate his commitment to upholding not just the law, but also the welfare of the people, without bias or prejudice.
