HARDSHIP! Gospel Singer, Sister Nnenna Goodness Pleads For Financial Help

Veteran gospel singer Sister Nnenna Goodness has emotionally opened up about her struggles with poverty and frustration, seeking help from well-meaning Nigerians.
She broke down in tears in a viral video, stating that she had been enduring severe financial hardship after losing ownership rights of her songs that once made her famous.
Sister Nnenna pleaded with Nigerians to support her, sharing her bank details for assistance.
“When you see me, you will see frustration, rejection, and poverty. As a result of the frustration, we were chased out of the house,” she lamented.
Her revelation sparked widespread reactions, with social media users confirming that her songs remain available on YouTube—though they appear to be under the control of another individual.
Controversy over gospel music monetization
Sister Nnenna’s plea coincides with a growing debate on whether gospel artists should profit from their music. Pastor Femi Lazarus recently stirred controversy by discouraging gospel musicians from excessively monetizing their talents. However, his stance has drawn backlash, particularly after it was revealed that his ministry school charges $150 in fees.
Many critics argue that gospel artists deserve financial rewards for their work, especially as churches and ministries benefit from their music. Sister Nnenna’s situation has reignited discussions on the financial struggles of gospel musicians and the need for fair compensation.
As donations trickle in from compassionate fans, many Nigerians are calling for systemic changes to ensure artists like Sister Nnenna Goodness receive the recognition and financial stability they deserve.

Edo Assembly member, Natasha Updates Social Media with Fiancé’s Surname, Idibia

Edo Assembly member, Natasha Osawaru has ignited speculation about her close relationship with Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, by adding his last name to her Instagram bio.
This move has fueled rumors about the nature of their connection, especially in light of recent controversies surrounding the singer.
Allegations of Diabolical Beads
Amidst ongoing discussions about 2Baba’s marital struggles, fresh allegations surfaced regarding supposed mystical influences linked to Osawaru. The singer’s mother reportedly urged the lawmaker to distance herself from her son, expressing concerns over the spiritual implications of beads she allegedly gave him.
In a viral statement, 2Baba’s mother was quoted saying: “My son is going through a divorce process, and he is clearly not in his right senses now. I know my son well.
That is not him. Please, Natasha, the beads you put on his hand and on his neck, remove them and free him.”
Osawaru Denies Claims, Explains Beads’ Origin
Responding to the allegations, Natasha Osawaru, in an interview with Nigerian journalist Stella Dimoko Korkus, dismissed any claims of diabolical influences. She clarified that the beads in question are of traditional and cultural significance rather than being tied to any form of supernatural control.
She elaborated, saying, “Those beads were given to me on my birthday; they represent a princess from a royal family. You know I am from the Igbinedion Royal Family. On my last birthday, my mother gifted me three beautiful beads, called ‘EZENEKA,’ which means ‘River that never runs dry.’ The pearl necklace 2Baba is wearing was given to me by my grandfather. It was a gift to him from the Queen of England when she was alive. My grandfather was a knight to the Queen of England.
“These are just traditional beads. 2Baba liked them and decided to wear them. There is nothing spiritual or diabolical about them. I did not place them on him; he saw them, liked them, and wore them of his own free will. If you observe, you’ll notice that he has always had a preference for beads and has worn several different ones over the years.”
Public Reactions and Ongoing Speculation
Following her clarification, public reactions have been mixed, with some people accepting her explanation while others remain skeptical. The controversy has reignited discussions about the influence of traditional symbols in modern relationships and celebrity culture.
Meanwhile, 2Baba has remained silent on the matter, choosing not to address the allegations publicly. As the situation continues to unfold, fans and observers are keeping a close watch on further development
