Empowerment: Obi visits Kaduna, donates over N21m to nursing, Islamic schools

Former Presidential Candidate of Labour party in the 2023 General Elections Peter Obi has supported selected Nursing and Islamic centers in kaduna with Over
Twenty million
naira.
Peter Obi first visited Sheikh Yusuf Sambo Richgachikun schools where both Western and Islamic education is been taught .
He also visited an Islamic school in Kawo as well as womanhood school of Health.
Peter Obi and his entourage were also at the Historic Catholic Saint Gerald Hospital all in the Kaduna metropolis.
The Former Presidential candidate of the labour party and Former Anambra state Governor Peter Obi during the visit has criticised the Poor state of the Nigerian’s healthcare system.
Calling for an urgent redirection of National health, education and poverty alleviation.
Obi stressed that true development should be measured by improvement in the human development index rather than physical infrastructure.
High point of the visit was the presentation of The sum of 5 Million Naira, to both Yusuf Sambo Rigachikum Islamic Center, And Almajiri Islamic Center kawo Kaduna as well as the Sum of 10 million Naira each to Women hood Health Center and Saint General Hospital Kaduna

Just in: Three PDP governors missing at ongoing convention in Oyo
Governors Ademola Adeleke (Osun); Agbu Kefas (Taraba) and Sim Fubara (Rivers) are yet to arrive the National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) holding at Lekan Salami Stadium in Adamasingba, Lagos.
They are among high profile members of the party not participating in the convention, which was preceded with conflicting court orders amid the crisis affecting the party.
