Why Ned Nwoko Arrested Regina Daniels – Tunde Ednut
Celebrity Nigerian influencer, Tunde Ednut, has claimed that Regina Daniels’ public appearance with alleged new boyfriend abroad triggered her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko to arrest her best friend.
Tunde made this claim in an Instagram post on Monday evening while addressing Ned Nwoko over the arrest of actress Regina Daniels’ best friend, Ann.
Ann was arrested on Monday by Lagos State police over theft and other allegations made against her by the senator.
The development came some days after the senator’s estranged wife was seen with a new man in a club.
However, reacting to Ann’s arrest, Ednut urged the senator to move on and let Regina Daniels go.
While acknowledging Nwoko’s influence, the influencer wrote “You don’t have to keep trying to arrest her family members all the time. It’s enough. We know you are powerful and influential, but it’s ok sir. Grandpa, at this point, you have to move on sir.
“DEAR NED NWOKO SIR. Pa Ned Nwoko don find another strategy to arrest that small girl’s brother again.
“Sir, it’s time to let that girl go sir. She no want you anymore, just leave her and her family alone.
“I know it’s that picture of her alleged new boyfriend’s hand on her soft hips that triggered this new arrest, but sir, you have to find it somewhere in your heart to let that beautiful, fresh warm skinned, tomato Jos, soft yansh, talented young girl go. Grandpa please sir.
“You are a senator sir, don’t forget you have work to do Ooo!”, he stated.

Just in: Ogun Court Finally Remands Portable Over Assault, Felony and Resisting Arrest Charges
Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has been remanded in custody by the Ogun State High Court sitting in Onipanu, Ota, following his arraignment on multiple criminal charges.
Portable is facing counts bordering on assault, felony occasioning harm and resisting arrest. Prosecutors told the court that the musician allegedly attacked one of his wives, Ashabi, and obstructed a female police officer, Inspector Ogungbe Olayemi, while she was performing her official duties. He was also accused of assaulting the officer during the incident.
The court further heard that Portable allegedly attacked other individuals at his Odogwu Bar on New Year’s Day.
Although the alleged victim, Ashabi, was absent from the proceedings, her two siblings were present in court as witnesses. During the hearing, Portable became emotional and reportedly broke down in tears.
His counsel applied for bail, but the presiding judge declined to grant the application, stressing that the assaulted police officer was not present in court. The judge noted that her testimony was crucial before any decision could be taken on the bail request.
Consequently, the court ordered that Portable be remanded in custody until January 19, when his bail application will be considered.
