Omo-Agege Withdraws From Arise TV Debate After Oborevwori pulled Out

Following the withdrawal of the candidate of the () for the governorship debate being organised by Arise Television, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (), Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has opted out of the tevelision debate over PDP candidate's absence.

The debate being organised by Arise News, operators of Arise Television, is expected to take place in Warri, , on Wednesday evening.

In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the APC governorship candidate, Mr. Sunny Areh, Omo-Agege said he is willing to attend any debate that the PDP candidate is ready to participate.

He noted that Omo-Agege will be available for any debate that is involving his major contender and candidate of the PDP, Oborevwori, by any national television.

“In the evening of Tuesday, March 14, 2023, the Delta APC Campaign Organisation received a letter from Arise News, operators of Arise Television, inviting the leading contender for the March 18 governorship in Delta State and APC's flagbearer, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, to a debate involving the major candidates. The said debate is scheduled to hold today, Wednesday, March 15 at 6pm.
