I’d Rather Go To Hell Than Sign Under Davido, Wizkid Or Burna Boy – Brymo
Singer Brymo is not afraid to share his opinion or state what he wants, even though it has attracted a lot of criticism.
From his choice of album titles, track titles, and even appearances in music videos, Brymo courts controversy.
One such controversy was when he revealed in a voice note he posted on X (formerly Twitter) that he demanded a sexual relationship from Simi for a music collaboration.
Brymo’s talent is not in doubt as he is arguably one of the best vocalists in Nigeria, if not Africa and he is not shy to mention this at every given opportunity.
Named Olawale Oloforo and known for hits like Oleku, Ara, Good Morning amongst others, he has once again aired his opinion in what may earn him another round of online bashing.
In a Question and Answer session on Curiosity Made Me Ask with social media personality, Adebayo Ridwan Abidemi @isbae_u, shared on Instagram, Brymo was asked if he would rather sign with Davido, Wizkid or Burna Boy, to which he responded ‘Don’t worry I will just go to hell. They need recording deals.”
The 37-year-old who spent time in Chocolate City with MI Abaga, Jesse Jagz, and Ice Prince also said he was offered millions in 2012 to ‘resurrect’ his career but he turned it down.
On why he left Chocolate City, he said it was because he wasn’t getting the desired result from the hit songs he made so he decided to be on his own and make meaningful songs instead.
Brymo also said unlike Burna Boy who included his name in his lyrics where he said “Hustle make you no fall off like Brymo“, he would not be reciprocating the favour.
Nollywood actor Rykardo Agbor has survived a serious car accident in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The actor disclosed the incident on his Instagram page, where he shared footage showing the aftermath of the crash and expressed gratitude to God for sparing his life.
The accident reportedly occurred around the Cornerstone City billboard area along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ibadan.
Details surrounding the crash, including its exact cause and whether other people were involved, were not immediately available.
Reacting to the incident, Agbor thanked God for his survival.
“As I was saying, thank God Almighty I made it out of this. Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ,” he wrote.
His post attracted messages of relief, prayers and goodwill from colleagues and fans, with several Nollywood personalities thanking God for his survival.

Jumoke Odetola Announces Move Into Ministry
Meanwhile, Nollywood actress Jumoke Odetola has announced a major change in her career, revealing that she has moved into Christian ministry.
Odetola made the announcement while responding to concerns from fans about her absence from the screen.
In a post on her Instagram page on Saturday, the actress said she is now a minister of God and appealed to the public to pray for her as she begins what she described as a new season.
“I’m now a minister of God. I am entering a new season with God. I need all the prayers in this season.
“When God compels you, you may delay, but you cannot escape the call,” she said.
Popular Nigerian singer Timaya has described late Afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo-Kuti as one of the major figures responsible for the global growth of Nigerian music.
Timaya made the remarks while speaking on the Afrobeats Intelligence podcast, where he reflected on Fela’s influence on Nigerian artistes and the wider African music scene.
The singer said Fela’s contribution to music had gone beyond Nigeria, noting that the late musician continued to command significant recognition in other African countries.
According to Timaya, Fela’s music and legacy remain particularly respected in Cameroon, where he claimed a radio programme is dedicated to playing his songs on weekends.
Without Fela, nobody would have known us and we wouldn’t be here singing music. I call him Baba because he didn’t inspire only me and other Nigerians,” Timaya said.
The singer added that Fela’s impact on Nigerian music was so significant that he could not disrespect the late musician or members of his family.
Fela is the greatest man I can never in my life disrespect him nor his family,” he added.

Nigerian gospel artiste Nutty Josh, whose real name was Joshua Acheme Edache, has passed away following reports of a severe road accident that left him in a medical coma for nearly a month.
Kingdomboiz had earlier reported that the exact circumstances surrounding his death had not been independently confirmed, and that further details were being awaited.
New information obtained from people familiar with the situation reveals that Nutty Josh sustained injuries during an incident at a motorcycle training school in Abuja about five weeks before his death.
A runaway driver was reportedly involved in the accident. However, contrary to an earlier account, the driver was not riding a power bike.
Following the incident, he experienced persistent headaches and difficulty breathing, although the seriousness of these symptoms was reportedly not immediately known to those around him.
At one point, Nutty Josh appeared to be recovering and attended church, where he testified about how God had helped him through the incident.
However, upon his return to the hospital afterwards, medical professionals discovered that he had also sustained internal injuries.
He subsequently underwent further examination and treatment, and was later placed in a medically induced coma.
Sadly, he passed away on Sunday morning, September 20, 2026.
These details describe the events preceding his death and should not be interpreted as an officially confirmed medical cause of death.
While family members have yet to release an official detailed statement regarding the final medical cause of death, tributes continue to pour in from fans and fellow artists honoring his contributions to gospel music.
