The Pastor in charge of Zone 007, RCCG Rock of Ages Parish, Satellite Town, Lagos, Pastor Gladson Amah on Sunday, June 9, 2024 hosted family, friends, colleagues, business associates, mentees and protégés to a profound 60th birthday anniversary celebration.

Although, the diamond jubilee was precisely on Thursday June 6, but for good reasons the celebrant shifted the main celebration to the church auditorium on Sunday to honour and appreciate God in a special thanksgiving service, in company of his adorable wife, Pastor (Mrs) Nkechi Amah and their precious children.

Ministering during the first service was the pastor in charge of province 15, Pastor Ayokunle Ajayi, whilst Pastor Boye Asaju, the National Church growth officer in province 34 now did justice to the auspicious birthday thanksgiving programme during the second service.

Later in the evening, the highly revered Pastor hosted his guests to a beautiful banquet at Radisson Blu, in GRA Ikeja.

The modest birthday celebration was also marked by prayers, Christian songs of praise and tributes to a leader, and an anointed man of God who has invested his God-given resources and talents in adding value to humanity both secularly and spiritually.

The birthday celebration was unique in every respect.

The select guests comprised of members of Rock of Ages Excellent Men Fellowship alongside members of Women on the Rock; others were family members, colleagues, friends, etc, including the immediate past minister in charge of Rock of Ages Parish, Pastor Magnus Duke and his wife Pastor Clara.

Guests were not only grooving to the lyrics and performances of the solo female artist and the saxophonist, but also savoring the culinary delights.

The blend of flavors, ranging from spicy to savory, added an extra layer of enjoyment to the already festive atmosphere. This was also evident in every dish and assorted non alcoholic drinks served.

Speaking at the special birthday celebration, the celebrant’s wife, Pastor Nkechi said her husband was a light that God has used to shine on the path of the people around him.

She prayed God to continue to bless him, grant him the best of health and make him live a very long and productive life.

She said: “Everything he has passed through in life has strengthened him and made him a better person. It is God that gives him the strength to serve humanity with love and courage.

“I know that we shall grow old together. He will continue to succeed in everything he does in Christ Jesus.”

Speaking further, Pastor Gladson’s virtuous and quintessential heartthrob described her man as a loving husband, caring father and a role model to his children and youths and also a committed and principled man of God. She added that he was a selfless leader, who is focused towards achieving goals that will promote welfare of the people..

The jubilant celebrant (Pastor Amah) was conspicuously seen praising God with various dance steps in a most decorous, godly and admirable manner.
