Police fire tear gas at #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protesters in Kano

The Nigerian police fired tear gas to break up several hundred protesters rallying against the cost of living in the northern city of Kano.

In Kano, protesters tried to light bonfires outside the governor’s office and police responded with tear gas, driving many of the protesters back.
