Maureen Esisi, the ex-wife of popular Nollywood actor, Blossom Chukwujekwu and Nigerian fashion designer, has denied claims of being lesbian or bisexual.

The controversy began last month when Esisi shared a video of herself and another lady kissing at a club, sparking curiosity on social media.

Some users, including a popular blogger, questioned Esisi’s sexuality.

But in a recent Instagram post, Esisi vehemently denied the allegations, stating, “I’m not lesbian, and not even bisexual”.

The 37-year-old entrepreneur argued that there was no evidence to substantiate the claims and challenged anyone with proof to come forward.

Esisi also addressed rumours about contracting sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) after engaging in anal sex, calling them “baseless”.

She emphasized that she is only sexually attracted to men and described the bisexuality claims as “a Nollywood story”.

“First Stella said I was having an&l s# with any older man until my butt started licking and I was caught and asked to leave the marriage. I chested that one. Then it was rumoured that I was caught on a matrimonial bed butt naked with a man. I still chested that one,” she wrote.

“Now it is being a lesbian that two women fight for my matter and the men around me are cover-up and I’m a renowned plate licker and I have a video of me stack naked in bed with a woman which was used to blackmail me? I would like to see that video. Please if you have any video of a sort, kindly just go right ahead and post it online sef please you must do. I want to see something.

“I was treating STDs on a regular? Last I checked, didn’t you have to actually have sex with someone to have a “Sexually” transmitted disease Abi isn’t that why it is called a sexually transmitted disease in the first place????

“I’m not lesbian, I’m not even Bisexual and I have no issues with people who are 000 …. na my Oozing sex appeal be my biggest Problem.”

Esisi married Blossom Chukwujekwu, the actor, in 2015. But their union crashed four years later.

Chukwujekwu got married to Pastor Ehinome, at Christ Embassy in June 2022, three years after his marriage to Maureen Esisi packed up.
Esisisi insisted that the actor was the one who “walked away,” stressing that for her “divorce wasn’t an option”.

She maintained that they were not officially divorced, as she didn’t sign any legal documents.

In 2020, Esisi also known as Red Vigor on Instagram revealed he’s still in love with her ex-husband even though she is not ready to have their relationship back.

Esisi whose marriage to the actor had since crashed over her alleged inability to bear a child also said she never cheated on him.

Davido has explained the reason behind his emotional tribute during his performance at the FIFA World Cup, saying he could not remain silent while children and teachers are still missing in Nigeria.

Speaking on the gesture, the Afrobeats star said many people avoid discussing the country’s security challenges because they want to protect Nigeria’s image, but insisted that there is no image to protect when innocent children are being abducted.

> “A lot of people don’t really want to talk about what is going on in our country. Simply because they want to protect the image. But there’s no image to protect if little kids are being kidnapped,” Davido said.

The singer noted that although he was honoured to perform at the World Cup, he believed it was important to use the global stage to draw attention to the plight of the abducted pupils and teachers from Oyo State.

Nollywood actress and media personality Toke Makinwa has shared her views on the role of financial compatibility in relationships and marriage.

Speaking on a recent episode of the MENtality podcast hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Makinwa said she believes people should date within their income bracket, arguing that significant financial differences can create challenges in relationships.

She also claimed that many men pursue relationships with women whose lifestyles exceed their financial capacity, only to later complain that women are materialistic.

She said, “I am a big believer of date within your age and within your class. That way there will not be stories that touch.

“You will have a good girl at home, a girl who will even make dinner with her own money when you don’t have. Yet, some men will still want to cheat on her with a woman they can’t afford.

“Heaven forbid you end up with a guy who hasn’t blown. The day he blows that is when you will know his true personality.

“And that scares women. Money doesn’t change people, it just reveal who the person is. So many men are treating women who sacrificed everything for them badly.”
