CONGRATULATIONS
BY EMMANUEL AGAJI
The Minority Caucus of the House of Representatives felicitates with you on your emergence as the Chairman; FCT Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists.
It is heartwarming that following your victory at the elections, you made history as the First female Chairman of the FCT Council; 43 years after it’s establishment.
As a Caucus, we are not surprised that the vibrant, and dynamic members of the fourth estate of the realm in the FCT unanimously elected you unopposed. It is in recognition of your consistent service, and continued commitment to the general well-being of journalists, and upliftment of the ethos of the profession.
Indeed, having distinguished yourself creditably in previous positions including Chairperson, House of Representatives Press Corp; and Vice Chairman, FCT Correspondents Chapel, your elevation to the top-most position is a worthy recognition, and endorsement of your leadership attributes.
As we congratulate you on this professional-lift, we encourage you to galvanize the entire FCT Council towards the deepening of ethical standards, and the realization of the vision of the founding fathers of the noble profession as true watchdog of the society.
Congratulations, once again!
