United States President, Donald Trump, has given valid reasons why he is revoking Joe Biden’s security clearance.
Trump explained on Friday, there is no essence for the former president to have his access to classified information, adding that his daily intelligence briefings will be stopped.
“There is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information,” Trump said in a post on his Truth Social platform.
“We are immediately revoking Joe Biden’s Security Clearances and stopping his daily Intelligence Briefings.”
However, while Trump claimed he’s revoking Biden’s security clearance to deny him access to classified information, the practical effect of the decision remains questionable.
Recall former presidents typically have no security clearances. They only have access to all classified information as president and automatically lose such when leaving office.
