Popular TikToker and video vixen Akosua Dickson has revealed the reason behind her recent switch from tomboy dressing.
Akosua Dickson is a well-known video vixen who gained fame through the TikTok application.
She’s popularly known for her hilarious commentaries and tomboy dressing (dressing as a male).
In most of her videos, she hilariously warns males approaching her to see her as their brother and not another female to toast.
This has all changed now since she has changed her way of dressing and addressing such issues.
Akosua Dickson now dresses as the female she is and attends events and other programs dressed well as a female.
In a recent interview monitored by Elvisanokyenews.net, Akosua revealed that she changed her mind because one lady approached her.
“One lady started chatting with me, proposing to me, and I didn’t like it at all.
That was the moment I heard a voice saying I would only avoid all this if I started dressing as the female I am and not as a male.
I woke up one day and started looking for my female dresses.
My mother and aunt were even surprised because they knew me to dress as a male.
My mother was very happy and even went to town to buy me more female clothes. She even gave me more of her own dresses.
The first female dress I wore to make a video was my mum’s, and that video really went viral.
I then promised myself to always dress as a female, and even if I go back to my old ways, I will just dress as a boy for fun,” Akosua Dickson disclosed.

Regina Daniels’ Child Custody Dispute: Lawyer outlines court conditions for actress’s access to children
By Francesca Hangeior
Celebrity lawyer Rita Amy Aduba has weighed in on the reported child custody dispute involving actress Regina Daniels and her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, explaining the conditions the actress must reportedly meet before gaining access to their two sons.
Speaking in a video, Aduba said she reviewed a 15-page High Court judgment, which she claimed granted Regina supervised access to the children rather than denying her visitation rights.
According to the lawyer, the court ordered that Regina’s visits be supervised by the Abuja Social Welfare Office, stressing that neither parent should be excluded from the children’s lives.
Aduba listed the reported conditions contained in the judgment as follows:
Regina’s access to the children must be supervised by the Abuja Social Welfare Office.
The visits must ensure the children are protected from harm.
She is reportedly prohibited from bringing the children into contact with four named individuals: Samuel Ojeugu, Destiny Ojeofo, Ngozi Aniote Izuegu and Ijeoma Josephine Otabofina, popularly known as Phyna.
Temporary custody of the children remains with Senator Ned Nwoko pending the determination of the case.
Regina is required to undergo confirmatory drug tests at designated laboratories to establish that she is free from substance abuse.
She must also demonstrate that she is mentally fit during visits with the children.
Aduba maintained that the court’s decision was aimed at protecting the welfare of the children while preserving the parental rights of both parties.

South Africa Begins Deportation Proceedings Against Miss Universe Nigeria Chidimma Adetshina
Miss Universe Nigeria, Chidimma Adetshina, is facing possible deportation from South Africa after the country’s Department of Home Affairs alleged that she is living in the country without legal status.
The 25-year-old appeared before the Cape Town Regional Court on June 9 after being arrested in the Summer Greens area. She was released on warning and is expected to return to court on July 16 as immigration authorities continue legal proceedings seeking her deportation.
According to court documents, immigration officer Adrian Jackson said officials found Adetshina and her minor son during an investigation and determined that neither currently holds valid legal status to remain in South Africa.
Jackson said officials interviewed Adetshina and searched the department’s records before concluding that she has no lawful residential status. He asked the court to confirm her detention for deportation.
The case follows an earlier decision by Home Affairs Minister Dr. Leon Schreiber, who in March dismissed Adetshina’s application to review the refusal of her request for a letter of good cause.
According to the minister, Adetshina was informed in September 2024 of plans to cancel her and her son’s South African identity documents but failed to respond.
Schreiber further alleged that she obtained a Nigerian passport before applying for a South African visitor’s visa, which was rejected after officials claimed she submitted a fraudulent bank statement. He said she did not appeal the decision and was later declared a prohibited person under South African immigration laws.
The minister also alleged that Adetshina later entered South Africa through the Lebombo border from Mozambique while presenting herself as a South African citizen. He added that her son’s immigration status depends on hers.
As part of her release conditions, Adetshina must remain at the address where she was arrested and notify immigration authorities of any changes to her residence, employment or movements while the case is pending.
