On Friday, the 23rd day of May 2025, the Publisher of sixtmedialane.com, Amb. Prince Sixtus Opara was unlawfully and secretly whisked away by the Minister of Defense, via the Defense Intelligence Agency, over a publication he made sometime in April on the purported removal of the Ministers of Defense and Power.
It is pertinent to know that, the Publisher published another rebuttal in a quick succession, tendering an unreserved apology to the affected persons for whatsoever embarrassments and inconveniences the former publication might have caused them.
Why will the Minister of Defense whisk him away after the rebuttal? 
This is a clear abuse of power by the Minister of Defense and also a desperate move to stifle the Press and hound Journalists.
Amb. Prince Sixtus Opara has used his platform sixtmedialane.com to promote the activities of the Military and the Federal Government, therefore it is absolutely unjust for the Minister of Defense to unlawfully flex the muscles of his office on him.
Injustice done to one, is injustice done to all.
I therefore call on the attention of the Federal Government, the Military, the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) and all relevant authorities to let them know that a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has just abused the power attached his office and should be held accountable should anything grotesque happen to the Publisher of sixtmedialane.com.
Amb. Prince Sixtus Opara should be released unconditionally and further harassments and embarrassments by the Minister of Defense stalled.
