The gesture comes after the Super Falcons clinched a thrilling 3-2 victory over Morocco in the WAFCON 2024 final on Sunday.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had earlier celebrated the team’s historic win by awarding each player $100,000, a three-bedroom home, and the national honour of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).
