The Federal Government has introduced an online Personal Income Tax calculator to enable Nigerians verify how much tax they are expected to pay under the new tax laws.
The calculator, which can be accessed via https://fiscalreforms.ng/index.php/pit-calculator/, allows users to compare their current tax rates with those that will apply when the reforms signed by President Bola Tinubu take effect in January 2026.FCCPC top jobs
According to the Presidency, the initiative is part of ongoing fiscal reforms to ensure equity, fairness and simplicity in the tax system. 
President Tinubu explained on Friday through his official X account that the tool was created to help Nigerians understand the impact of the reforms on their incomes.FCCPC top jobs
He said the new law is structured to protect low-income earners, strengthen progressivity and prevent undue burden on vulnerable citizens.
The President urged Nigerians to test the calculator and familiarise themselves with the new regime, assuring that the reforms were designed to make the system more transparent and efficient.
