Ukrainian cryptocurrency expert and blogger, Konstantin Ganich, better known as Kostya Kudo, has been found dead inside his luxury Lamborghini Urus in Kyiv.
Local police confirmed that the 32-year-old died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, with a legally registered firearm discovered beside him. Authorities say initial investigations point to suicide, though a case has been opened under Article 115 of Ukraine’s Criminal Code which covers intentional murder, pending full investigation.
A message shared on Kudo’s official Instagram page confirmed the devastating news, reading: “Konstantin Kudo tragically passed away. The causes are being investigated. We will keep you posted on any further news.”
According to police reports, the incident occurred early Friday in the Obolonskyi district of Kyiv. Forensic teams and law enforcement officials arrived at the scene to recover evidence.
Kudo, who was the co-founder and CEO of the Cryptology Key Trading Academy, had reportedly been battling depression and financial pressure in recent weeks. Sources close to him revealed that he sent a farewell message to loved ones shortly before the incident.
His death comes at a turbulent time for the global crypto market. Over $19 billion was reportedly wiped out in liquidations following a dramatic market crash that saw Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies plummet.
Analysts have linked the downturn to new U.S. trade tariffs on China, announced by President Donald Trump, describing it as “the largest liquidation event in crypto history.”
