Nigerian music sensation Adekunle Gold has fulfilled his promise to Big Brother Naija winner, Imisi, by gifting her a brand-new iPhone 17 Pro Max.
The award-winning singer, who had openly supported Imisi during the reality TV show, made the generous gesture following a recent online exchange.
During an Instagram Live session last week, Adekunle Gold noticed that Imisi’s phone camera quality was poor. He asked if she needed a new phone and promised to get her one — a promise he has now kept.
A viral video posted on Imisi’s Instagram story captured the emotional moment she received the sleek new phone from the singer. The excited reality star could be seen unboxing the iPhone with visible joy and gratitude.
Meanwhile, in other entertainment news, veteran comedian Alibaba has stirred social media reactions after stating that polygamy can help stabilize marriages.
Speaking on a podcast hosted by Nedu, Alibaba argued that having more than one wife can sometimes encourage better behavior from spouses.
He explained:
“Some people feel if it’s only one wife, you may not be able to control her. But if she knows you have another woman, she’ll calm down because she knows if she misbehaves, there’s someone else available.”
