The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has postponed Ekiti governorship primary initially scheduled for November 8, 2025.

This development was contained in a letter addressed to INEC chairman dated November 6, 2025 signed by the acting chairman of PDP, Abdulrahman Mohammed.
In the letter, Mohammed said the primary was postponed due to logistics reasons constraining the exercise.
Going by INEC’s guidelines, last day for parties to conduct primary for election of candidates is November 11, 2025.
