…say Christmas align with spirit of Rotary

The District Governor of Rotary International District 9127, Rotarian Joy Okoro, has extended warm Christmas greetings to members of the Rotary family, urging them to embrace unity, service and compassion as the year draws to a close. 
In her Yuletide message to Rotarians and partners across the District, she said:
“My Dear Rotary Family and Friends,
“I joyfully welcome you to this festive Yuletide season as we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. My heartfelt Christmas greetings go out to you and your loved ones across our dear District.”
Highlighting the deeper meaning of Christmas, the District Governor noted that the season reflects the very values Rotary stands for.
She commended Rotarians for their commitment to service and community impact throughout the Rotary year.
“Christmas embodies the values of love, hope, sacrifice, and renewal—ideals that resonate profoundly with the spirit of Rotary. This season reminds us that true leadership is expressed through service, that compassion constitutes our greatest strength, and that our unity is a powerful gift to humanity.
“Through your selfless dedication, generosity, and unwavering commitment, you have brought hope to communities and transformed lives, perfectly living out the essence of Rotary.”
“I extend my sincere appreciation to every Rotarian and Partner for your steadfast support, collaboration, and passion for service throughout this Rotary Year”, she added.
Looking ahead, Dame Princess Okoro encouraged members to remain hopeful and focused on greater impact in the coming year.
“As we reflect on the accomplishments of the past half-year and look forward with optimism to the next half and the coming new year, may this Christmas fill your hearts with peace, your homes with joy, and your lives with renewed purpose.
“Together, we will achieve even more and continue to make an impactful difference in our service to humanity”, she said.
