Death of two Kano lawmakers test of faith – Gov. Yusuf

The Governor of Kano State, Abba Yusuf, on Thursday expressed profound shock and deep pain over the sudden death of the two serving members of the State House of Assembly on the same day.

A lawmaker who was representing Kano Municipal Local Government Area, Sarki Aliyu Daneji, died just minutes after news broke of the death of his colleague, Aminu Sa’adu, who represented Ungoggo Local Government Area.

The deceased were all members of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) ruling Kano State.

Governor Yusuf described the tragedy as a “test of faith” and collective resilience, calling on the people of the state to remain calm, united, and prayerful.
