The families of Ikibah and Nwosu have announced the funeral arrangements for their beloved mother and matriarch, late Mrs Gloria Elizabeth Nwosu who passed away at the age of 85.
In a statement released by the family, they expressed gratitude to God for her long and fulfilled life while inviting relatives, friends and well-wishers to join them in celebrating her memory. 
Mrs Nwosu, née Ikibah, was born in 1939 and lived a life marked by devotion to family and community. According to the announcement, the funeral activities will begin on Monday, March 30, 2026, with a celebration of life organised by the Ikibah family (Oreiwari) Isounbiri Clan at Odi Town in Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. The event is scheduled to start at 8:00 a.m.
The main funeral service will take place on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. at the compound of the late Bman Nwosu, located at 51 Ulonese Street, Umuonaga Village, Agulu in Anambra State. A condolence visit by in-laws, family members and friends will follow at 10:00 a.m.
Condolence visits are expected to continue the next day, Saturday, April 4, 2026, beginning at 8:00 a.m.
The funeral activities will conclude with a thanksgiving service on Sunday, April 5, 2026.
Family members described the late Mrs Nwosu as a cherished mother whose life touched many, praying that her soul continues to rest in the Lord.
Late Mrs Nwosu was married to Late Bman Nwosu of Umuonaga Village, Agulu Awka in Anambra State, she hailed from Odi town in Bayelsa state.
She is survived by 3 children, 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, cousins, nephews, nieces amongst others.
