Three youth leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State have lost their lives in a tragic motor accident while travelling to Lafia, Nasarawa State, to attend the party’s North Central Zonal Congress.
The victims have been identified as Hon. Anawo Benjamin of Orokam Ward 3, Hon. Ogbe Enemari of Ai-oono Ward 3, and Hon. Abraham Enenche of Olachagbaha Ward.
They died at the scene of the crash, while several other members of the delegation sustained varying degrees of injuries and are currently receiving treatment. 
The fatal incident occurred along the Makurdi–Lafia road on Wednesday, cutting short the lives of the young party leaders who were said to be on official party duty.
APC Benue South Senatorial candidate, Comrade Daniel Onjeh, expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing it as a heartbreaking tragedy.
He noted that the deceased were committed grassroots politicians whose dedication and loyalty contributed significantly to the growth of the party.
