Dan Anacha in Gassol Local Government Area of Taraba State was thrown into a frenzy as a political rally organised by Hon. Alhaji Raubilu Umar attracted a mammoth crowd of supporters ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The rally, which drew political stakeholders and grassroots supporters from across the local government, featured the Commissioner for Science and Technology, Taraba State, Muslim Aruwa, and the Special Assistant to Governor Agbu Kefas, Alhaji Raubilu Umar, among others.
The gathering was held in support of Governor Agbu Kefas and Senator Manu Haruna, who represents Taraba Central Senatorial District. 
The event attracted the Vice Chairman of Gassol Local Government Area, all 12 councillors, Special Assistants to the governor and youths from various communities within the local government.
Supporters used the rally to demonstrate their loyalty to the political leadership of Governor Kefas and Senator Haruna, as political consultations and grassroots mobilisation gather momentum ahead of the 2027 elections.
The large turnout underscored the growing political activity in Gassol and the wider Taraba State, with political actors increasingly taking their mobilisation efforts to the grassroots ahead of the general elections.
