President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Kaduna State for the flag-off of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Tinubu arrived in Kaduna on Saturday and was received by top government officials, security chiefs and leaders of the APC.
The Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Abdulaziz Yari, and the party’s National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, were among the party leaders who received the President at the airport.
During his visit, Tinubu is expected to commission some projects and hold meetings with key stakeholders in the state.
The Kaduna campaign event marks the formal commencement of the APC’s drive to secure Tinubu’s re-election in the 2027 presidential election.
Tinubu is expected to face major opposition candidates, including Peter Obi of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) and Atiku Abubakar of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), among others.
