The family announced the programme on the singer’s social media page on Wednesday, a week after his sudden death.

“We invite you to join us for a Night of Tributes and Service of Songs in honour of our beloved brother, friend, and gospel minister, Olayemi Bayonle Bolaji, fondly known as Toluwanisings,” the statement read.
Toluwanisings died on October 14, 2026, shortly after ministering at gospel singer Bidemi Olaoba’s praise concert in Ibadan.

His death has continued to generate reactions on social media, with fans, colleagues and other members of the public raising concerns about Nigeria’s emergency healthcare system.

According to his personal assistant, the singer reportedly slumped at his residence and was taken to several hospitals in Ibadan, but died after allegedly being rejected by eight hospitals over a lack of emergency equipment.

The circumstances surrounding his death have also sparked criticism of the country’s healthcare system and renewed calls for improved emergency medical services.

The October 27 service is expected to provide an opportunity for family members, friends, colleagues and fans to pay their final tributes to the late gospel minister.
