Kwankwaso made the declaration on Saturday following the large turnout of supporters at the formal flag-off of the APC presidential campaign in Kaduna State.

He described the rally as a strong demonstration of support for Tinubu and evidence of the North-West’s commitment to the President’s re-election bid.

“Today, we of the North-West geopolitical zone have spoken loud and clear on who we stand for. Our choice of Tinubu remains our commitment to a better Nigeria and national cohesion,” he said.
According to Kwankwaso, the Kaduna rally had dispelled doubts over the political direction of the North ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
He said the gathering was significant not only for the APC’s campaign but also for what he described as a broader call for political unity and national progress.

Kwankwaso urged other geopolitical zones to support Tinubu, arguing that consolidating around the President would promote national development and cohesion.

The Kaduna rally marked the formal commencement of the APC’s campaign for Tinubu’s re-election ahead of the 2027 general elections.
