AGN Bans ‘Unnecessary’ Picture, Video Recording At Burial Of Junior Pope

AGN has banned ‘unnecessary’ picture and video recording at Junior Pope’s burial taking place on Friday, May 17.

Glamtush reports that the Actors Guild of Nigeria has said it would not allow what it described as unnecessary picture and video recording at the burial of late actor, Junior Pope, who died in a boat accident on April 10.

This online news platform understands that it said all journalists and bloggers must be accredited by the deceased’s family.

The guild’s President, Emeka Rollas, made the announcement on Instagram on Tuesday, stating that 30 representatives from five states – Delta, Imo, Abia, Anambra, and Enugu – have been picked to attend the ceremony.

The representatives will be provided with official T-shirts and transportation.

Rollas emphasized that only official photographers will be allowed to take pictures and videos during the proceedings, and all press and bloggers must be accredited by the family.

He wrote, “In preparation for the burial of our departed colleague, Jnr Pope, we have appointed 30 representatives each from these five state chapters namely Delta, Imo, Abia, Anambra and Enugu and a conveying bus with the official T-shirts for each of the state chapters.

“If you are within any of the mentioned states, please contact the chairman, Actors Guild of Nigeria of the state chapter where you are.

“For those who want to go on their own, please, you may wish to reach out to us for your T-shirts.

“It is a devastating and sorrowful period for the Actors Guild of Nigeria therefore we shall not indulge in any unnecessary picture or video recording that is not by the official photographers at the proceedings of the final journey of our departed colleague. All press/ bloggers must be accredited by the family.”

Kris Asimonye, the wife of Nigerian comedian Bovi Ugbomma, announced her new Mercedes Benz on social media.

She shared a captivating video on her official Instagram from the Mercedes Benz dealership in Derby.

In the video, Kris was warmly guided to her new car, with her name displayed on posters as part of the welcome.

According to the comedian’s wife, Bovi Ugbomma had told her she would get a Benz as a reward for passing her driving test, and she went above and beyond his expectations.

The comedian bought her a brand new GLE 450d 4Matic.

In the comment section, Bovi Ugbomma mentioned that his wife still found a reason to argue just one day after getting her new car.

He wrote, “You won’t write how you still managed to quarrel one day after collecting it o. Yeye dey smell.”

Husband Murders Wife, Takes Own Life

A former reality TV star has allegedly been shot de@d by her husband in their luxury home before he turned the gun on himself.

Police reportedly found the body of Paulina Lerch, 33, who appeared on Top Model in her native Poland twice, after her family failed to get in touch with her for over a week.

Police suspect her husband Sławomir, 47, shot her dead before k!lling himself at their home near Poznan City, Poland, on Sunday, September 1. He was reportedly found lying next to Lerch with fatal self-inflicted gunshot wounds.

The house was locked from the inside and a revolver was discovered next to the young couple’s dead bodies.

Sławomir was an alleged drug trafficker and was arrested, along with 30 other suspects, in April and May this year after 60kg of drugs were found stashed in a warehouse. He was released from custody at the beginning of August.
Lerch kept her marriage to Sławomir away from the public eye.

It remains unclear whether Paulina’s de@th was mu¥der or a suicide pact between the pair.
Paulina’s family said they hadn’t heard from her for over a week before her body was found. They then called the authorities out of concern for her wellbeing.

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.

I’ll give 10% of prize money to Onyeka if i win, BBNaija Ozee promises

Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ housemate Ozee has promised to give his colleague, Onyeka 10 per cent of the reality show’s prize money if he emerges as the winner.

It could be recalled that the organisers dissolved the pairs on Sunday, leaving the housemates to compete solo for the grand prize.

During a conversation with Onyeka on Monday, Ozee pledged to give 10 percent of the prize money to her should he emerge winner by the end of the season.

“When I win, do you know what will happen? Because you will be part of my journey, so automatically I’ll give you 10 per cent,” he said.

The grand prize remains N100 million, including a cash prize and an SUV, plus additional sponsored prizes.
