Only months earlier, Paul Hodgson, 56, received a devastating cancer diagnosis after starting to feel unwell in December
After suffering symptoms including excessive burping, dark urine, loose stools and back pain, Paul made the decision to seek medical help and booked to see a doctor. Despite tests being carried out, he was told there was nothing to worry about. 
But Paul’s health continued to worsen after arriving home from a holiday to Egypt with wife Diane. Once they got back to the UK, Paul booked another appointment with the doctor, and the GP noticed that his skin had turned yellow.
