Legendary Nigerian artiste Innocent Ujah Idibia, also known as 2Baba, has parted ways with his longtime manager, Efe Omorogbe, CEO of Now Muzik Talent Management.
The duo revealed this in a joint statement released on Instagram by Now Muzik on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the mutual disagreement takes immediate effect.
Omorogbe expressed gratitude to 2Baba, noting that working with him was “beyond work.”
While celebrating his achievements with 2Baba throughout the course of their 20-year association, he promised that he and his firm will continue to support the singer from the sidelines.
“It really is an honour to have had the opportunity to walk side by side with him, watching and helping him make magic over the past two decades. My team and I look forward to now supporting from the sidelines, and continuing to advocate for any and everything 2Baba,” he said in his over two-decade relationship with the singer.
Speaking about the mutual disengagement, 2Baba says Efe and the Now Muzik team are responsible for much of his career success.
He wrote: “I know it’s a cliche but every good thing must come to an end. I owe a lot of my career success to Efe and his team at Now Muzik.
“Everything I’ve been able to achieve is as a result of the support of so many people and organisations working with me to bring my talent and vision to life. Now Muzik is one of such companies and I couldn’t be more grateful to them.”

Why I broke up with my ex-girlfriend – Rema
Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has revealed why he broke up with his ex-girlfriend, claiming that she was “quite manipulative”.
In an interview with YouTuber Korty EO, Rema said the relationship was “beautiful” but not always peaceful.
The singer lamented that sometimes when he returns home hoping to rest from the pressure of the outside world, his then girlfriend often greeted him with chaos.
He said he eventually walked away when he could no longer tolerate her excesses.
“My romantic relationship was beautiful but a little quite manipulative. So much pressure. Knowing the world puts so much pressure on me but coming back home is where you want to feel relieved but when you come back home and you are getting more pressure, it’s a different story. For now, I’m done,” he said.

‘I have checked out of marriage,’ says Regina Daniels
Actress Regina Daniels revealed that she has emotionally stepped away from marriage but still hopes to have a daughter.
Speaking during a livestream with TikTok personality Jarvis, Daniels reflected on motherhood and relationships.
She revealed she has not seen her children since last year, though she remains hopeful they will reunite soon.
The mother of two explained that for personal reasons, she no longer envisions remarrying.
However, she expressed a strong desire to have a baby girl. According to her, raising a daughter offers a deeper connection to motherhood.
Daniels said having a female child brings a different and more profound understanding of being a mother.
“The last time I saw my children was last year. I know one day, I’ll see them again, very soon. But for some reason I have checked my mind out of getting married but I’m yet to have a girl and I must have a girl child. I feel like you’d understand motherhood better when you have a girl child”, she said.
In October last year, she parted ways with her husband, Ned Nwoko, following a public disagreement.
