The diaspora is not merely a demographic but a formidable resource pool contributing across critical sectors such as health, ICT, culture, sports, and investment,” Bassi remarked.
He reiterated NiDCOM’s dedication to partnerships that foster unity, strengthen diaspora relations, and propel national development. Bassi also emphasized ongoing initiatives, including the National Diaspora Policy, Diaspora Data Mapping Portal, Nigerian Diaspora Investment Summit, and the Nigerian Diaspora Mortgage Scheme.
Commending the Man O’ War initiative as timely and impactful, Bassi pledged NiDCOM’s full support for collaborative efforts that promote national reorientation, citizenship education, and active engagement of Nigerians abroad.
