A Nigerian man identified as Agozi Comedy has apologised to the gospel singers Nathaniel Bassey and Mercy Chinwo.

Agozi had suggested that Blessed Uzochikwa, Chinwo’s husband, should carry out a DNA test to determine the paternity of their child.

He alleged that their son bears a striking resemblance to Nathaniel Bassey and implied that the latter is the father.

“If you don’t do DNA for the child, in 18 years I don’t want to hear justice for yourself,” he said, addressing Uzochikwa.
