Rep Kingsley Chinda has again embarked on massive empowerment programs for welders and mechanics providing starter packs for them in Obio/Akpor Federal Constituency of Rivers state.
For over 14 years, Chinda has embarked on several empowerment programs in Obio/Akpor teaching his constituents on how to fish rather than dolling out cash gifts.
The welders and mechanics had to undergo a six month training in a reputable company and were paid stipends by Rep Chinda during the program.
The seasoned lawmaker’s philosophy is laced to the dictum that preaches teach a man how to fish to enable him stand on his feet alone.
This empowerment was concluded this week in Obio/Akpor Federal Constituency.
