Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado, has told the First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, to intimate her husband, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, that Nigerians are in dire condition.
The northern monarch said this while receiving Mrs. Tinubu to Kano on an official visit.
She said, “Although, we have several means of communicating to him on our needs and request, but yours is certainly a surest way to the President”.
The emir had his speech translated from Hausa to English Language by an erudite senior palace Counsellor.
He added, ” I want to admit that you inherited this situation, but the horrific decline in standard of living under your administration is alarming that deserves urgent attention”.
The Fulani emir of Kano commented on the relocation of key parastatals out of the federal capital Territory to the President’s home state.
Aminu Ado Bayero stated that “we are indeed suspicious on why Mr. President single-handedly relocate key departments of CBN, and outright relocation of FAAN to Lagos”.
Ado Bayero added, “We are receiving series of messages from my subjects, and most of them expressed concern over relocation of CBN and FAAN to Lagos.”
He admonished the federal government to “come out clean on this matter and talk to Nigerians in the Languages they would understand”.
Bayero, however, asked the sitting President to “Do more enlightenment on this matter, I for one cannot tell the actual intentions of the Government, we should be made to actually understand why the relocation of the CBN and FAAN offices back to Lagos”.
The first class emir said, “the issues of Insecurity is another serious problems confronting us as a people, and of course, I know your Government inherited it, but something more seriously should be done to takes care of the threats”.
Aminu Ado Bayero seized the opportunity to commend Mrs Tinubu for her care for the wellbeing of the Nigerian children.
He advised on the need to actualise her pet Program under the Renewed Hope Agenda to accommodate the less privileged.
He commended Oluremi Tinubu for supporting the people of Plateau during the crises there and prayed that similar gestures be readily offered to others in need.

The Nigerian police has finally approved the planned nationwide protests and outlined conditions for participants.
The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, revealed this on Friday while addressing journalists in Abuja.
He urged all groups planning to participate in the proposed nationwide protest to submit their details to the Commissioners of Police in their respective states.
The police boss said this was to ensure the protest was peaceful.
Egbetokun said, “We acknowledge the constitutional right of Nigerian citizens to peaceful assembly and protest.
“However, in the interest of public safety and order, we urge all groups planning to protest to provide necessary details to the Commissioner of Police in the state where the protest is intended to take place.
“To facilitate a successful and incident-free protest, they should please provide the following information: state the proposed protest routes and assembly points; expected duration of the protest; and names and contact details of protest leaders and organisers.”
The police boss said the information expected from the organisers also include measures to prevent hijacking by criminal elements, as well as key identifiers for possible isolation of potential troublemakers.
By providing the information, he said, the police will be able to deploy adequate personnel and resources to ensure public safety.
He said the police needed to know the specific routes and areas for the protest to avoid conflicts with other events or activities.
Mr Egbetokun said the police will “establish clear communication channels with protest leaders to address any concerns or issues that may arise; minimise the risk of violence, property damage, or other criminal activity.
“We encourage all protesters to cooperate with the police, obey the law, and adhere to global best practices for peaceful assembly to guarantee a safe and successful exercise of their rights.
