Regina who took to her verified Instagram page wrote “Valentine is beautiful over here”.

Reps Postpone Resumption of Plenary to Tuesday, February 4, 2025

The House of Representatives has postponed resumption of plenary previously scheduled for Tuesday, January 28, 2025 to Tuesday, February 4, 2025.
This was contained in a memo issued by the Clerk of the House of Representatives, Dr. Yahaya Danzaria, Esq., on the directive of the House Leadership, on Friday in Abuja.
It reads: “The postponement is necessary to allow Committees sufficient time to conclude ongoing budget engagements and defences with Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs). This measure ensures a thorough and comprehensive approach to legislative responsibilities.
“The House remains committed to fulfilling its legislative mandate for the benefit of Nigerians and appreciates the understanding of all stakeholders”.

Life And Time Of Lantang Born Army General ,Jeremiah Usani

Lt. Gen. Jeremiah Useni is a retired Nigerian army officer who had a distinguished career spanning over four decades.

Born on February 16, 1943, in Langtang, Plateau State, Nigeria, Useni rose through the ranks to become a lieutenant general .

Useni’s military career was marked by various appointments, including Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, under the Sani Abacha military junta.

He also served as Minister of Transport and Quarter-Master General of the Nigerian Army.

One of the significant events in Useni’s life was his appointment as Military Governor of Bendel State in January 1984.

He later became a key figure in the Abacha regime, serving as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.

After Abacha’s death in 1998, Useni’s fortunes began to decline.

He was subjected to investigation and scrutiny, with allegations of corruption and embezzlement emerging.

Despite this, Useni continued to be involved in politics, serving as a senator for the Plateau South constituency from 2015 to 2019.

Throughout his career, Useni has been known for his shrewd business acumen and his ability to build a vast network of influence and wealth.

The late General who is reported to have been struggling with undisclosed illness for sometime now, which virtually keep him out of public functions breath his last on Thursday 23rd January 2025 at the age of 82.
