Lucky BBNaija Phyna escapes kidnappers’ attack in Delta



Former Big Brother Naija, BBNaija, reality show winner, Josephine Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, on Saturday escaped a kidnapper’s attack in Delta State.

The reality star made this known in a post on her official X account on Saturday evening.

Narrating her experience, she said the kidnappers hijacked four cars in front of the vehicle she rode in and abducted the occupants.

She wrote; “So I got to Delta State today (GIG) we were moving in convoy and suddenly one of the cars drifted off the road, which led to a very minor accident, so we all had to stop to see what could be done, but since it was getting late my car and one other decided to continue the journey.

“Omo that was how the passengers of the 4 cars to the one I was in were kidnapped… they carried them out of their cars and left both cars empty in the middle of the road… see the way cars were turning and riding one way back omo i just dey shiver.”

Notable crossdresser James Brown speaks out as he confronts those criticising his attitude and calling for his arrest, reaffirming his position as an entertainer.

Following the recent imprisonment of the famous crossdresser Bobrisky, James Brown’s name has been circulating on social media, with some claiming that the same treatment should be given to James Brown.

In a recent Instagram post, James Brown addressed individuals who have been debating him and his personality.

He mentioned that his name has been floating in people’s conversations on social media.

The ‘Princess of Africa’ emphasized that his performances are designed to entertain his fans and help them forget their sorrows and failures.

Furthermore, he stated that his sole emphasis is his business and performing. He asked everyone to retain mutual respect and set boundaries.

JUST IN: Several weeks after his demise, Ibu family fixes date for late actor’s burial



Several weeks after his death the family of late Nollywood star actor, John Ikechukwu Okafor popularly known as Mr. Ibu has announced June 28 as the burial date for the late movie star who died recently in Lagos after battles with diabetes.

The family said the late actor will be buried in his hometown Amuri, in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State.

In a conversation with the press, the burial Planning Committee Chairman, Hon Monday Diamond Ani said,Mr. Ibu is going to be buried as a hero because he was a hero.

In a statement from the late actor’s family jointly signed by Elder Sunday Okafor(Mr Ibu’s elder brother) and Mr Ibu’s immediate family, the late actor made his home community, Enugu state, Nigeria and Africa as a whole proud while alive.

“The Okafor family in Eziokwe Amuri, Nkanu West LGA in Enugu State wishes to honour the loving memory of our hero and a legend John Ikechukwu Okafor who even in death has left a legacy of love, laughter and liveliness.

“We would appreciate your esteemed presence as we lay to rest our son, husband, father, grandfather,brother, uncle and in-law on the 28th of June 2024. Kindly join us as we share the best and last moments with our icon,” the statement stated.

According to the statement, the burial ceremony would begin on Tuesday, June 25th with a high profiled novelty match , while on Wednesday, June 26, there would be session called Mr Ibu’s Night,which involves candlelight procession and live entertainment.
On June 27, a Christian Wake-Keep would be held at his compound in Eziokwe Amuri, Nkanu West while the funeral service takes place on June 28.

The 5-day burial ceremony will be wrapped up on Sunday, 30th June with a Church Thanksgiving for family members, friends and well wishers

Jnr Pope’s wife reportedly on medical care after going unconscious



A nurse has shared a video of late actor Junior Pope’s wife being unconscious and receiving treatment at a hospital.

The nurse who goes by the handle @BlessingAnthony001 claims that Jennifer Awele, the late Nollywood actor Junior Pope’s wife was unconscious.

In the footage, a nurse was seen providing care to a woman who was recognized as Jnr. Pope’s wife even though her face was not shown.

She disclosed the unconscious state of Jnr Pope’s wife in a commentary on the video.

Social media users were agitated by the release of the video stating that it was callous of the nurse to post it and social media and that she could lose her job as a result.
