Two years after, Phyna demands outstanding prize money from Bbnaija
Phyna, the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season 7 winner, has claimed she is yet to receive all her prize money — two years after winning the show.
In October 2022, Phyna, born Josephine Otabor, was declared the winner of the BBNaija ‘Level Up’ edition.
She defeated more than 20 housemates for the N100 million grand prize among other gifts won during the show.
Phyna was presented with a cheque of N50 million, a brand new sports utility vehicle, among other prizes promised by the show’s organisers for that season.
But in a recent post via X, the reality star called out the BBNaija organisers for announcing another show while “I am yet to see all my prizes and money”.
“New show. Winner of season 7 nor see all her prizes and money. Well lemme mind my business before them go talk say I don go bite their hand…. It is well,” she wrote on X.

Last year, Phyna apologised for her behaviour during the first six months following the BBNaija win.
In the same year, she condemned the reality TV show, saying “it is too toxic”.
Last week, Multichoice Nigeria announced auditions for the ninth edition.
Different from previous editions, the organisers said aspiring contestants are to record their audition videos in pairs of twos and convince the judges why they both should be picked.

BBNaija’s Chichi reportedly returns to pole dancing
In a surprising twist, Big Brother Naija reality star Chichi has set the internet ablaze after being spotted pole dancing at a nightclub.
The viral video, which surfaced online, shows the former housemate effortlessly climbing and twirling on the pole, a move that has reignited conversations about her journey and choices post-BBN.
Chichi’s return to exotic dance comes as a shock to many, as it contrasts her earlier declaration in March 2024 to retire from the profession.
Following her stint in the Big Brother Naija house, the reality star had publicly vowed to leave pole dancing behind, reflecting on her past as a stripper and her rise to fame.
The latest video, however, proves that Chichi may not have entirely closed that chapter of her life, leaving fans intrigued and divided over her bold and unapologetic move.
